VALUATION REPORTS

Defined benefit super has prescribed methods to value. Our superannuation reports are comprehensive and provided for a fixed fee of $660 (incl GST) for most funds and $825 for corporate funds (incl GST).

Some trustees of defined benefit funds will provide a value (and the trustee will then need to give the evidence about the value, if contested), However, if the trustee doesn’t provide a valuation report, we can provide our comprehensive report.

ORDERS FOR SELF MANAGED SUPER

Orders for Self Managed Super can be complex. If you need assistance in drafting, we have a drafting service for complex SMSFs so that the draft ensures the trustees meet their obligations under the SIS Act and Regulations. If the parties agree, we can take the trustee of the SMSF as the client.

DEFINED BENEFITS SUPER

Stephen Bourke is frequently appointed by the Court to provide expert reports about the superannuation, especially for an SMSF or defined benefit super. The reports cover the value, the nature of the superannuation interest and the effect of any Orders being sought.

Arbitration is becoming an important part of the settlements. Stephen Bourke is a qualified arbitrator and available for single issue arbitration on your matter as it relates to super. We also offer non-binding arbitration to provide splitting orders;
